Job Description

Study reference project drawings.
Create detail drawings based on layout drawings.
Check for interference if any and inform project leader for necessary revisions.
Co-ordination.
100% self checking of drawing after completion of drawing based on layout drawings and drawing check list.
Create 3D model if required.
Communication with the nesting team incase of revision in the drawings.(Nesting shall be done on latest revision).
Complete the drawings as per the drawing schedule.
Send required to IT for creationg of new material code.
Enter the drawing bill of material in SAP.
Weekly visit to production site to understand the structural and mechanical parts.
Candidate should have in-line experience in Design Function for RTGC, RMQC, STS.

Good in Auto CAD2009/2010 and other version of Auto CAD.
Reading skill of 2D drawings.
Knowledge about welding, machining symbols and GD and T.
Knowledge about 3D modeling and working experience in design of port cranes will be an added advantage.
Good in communication skills and good team player.
